To remove the sorrow from the mankind Lord Buddha left wife, son and kingdom; became a monk. He found the way to salvation, the way to removing sorrow. He was the chief guest of 4th Buddhist film festivel which was arranged on 1st May at Nandankanan Buddhist temple. The programme was presided by Prof. Gyanaratna Mahasthabir & it was inagurated by Sudip Barua who is the Secretary General of Bangladesh Bouddha Samitee. The Secretary General of Bangladesh Sangharaj Bhikku Mahasabha Ven. S. Lokajit Thero, Shawpan Barua Chowdhury, Eng. Riton Barua, Biswajit Barua, Ashok Barua, Shawpan Barua was present in this inaguration ceremoy.
In this programme faliciation was given to Devotee Manu Barua. However, prize also distributed to the winner of art competition. In this film festival film made by Buddhist life & Dr. Ambedkar’s life was shown.
